I’m a Hungarian-Australian social worker, health science communicator and photographer who loves stories and is committed to green social work.
I love hearing other people’s stories, sharing my own in words and photographs and deciphering the narratives that data tells us.
My photography journey that has brought me closer to nature started more than 13 years ago. In that time I’ve explored almost every genre of photography, but I especially love capturing fog and morning light, dogs, all things vintage and pioneer and people living their lives. I also sometimes enjoy slowing down and shooting flowers with a vintage lens.
I’m currently spending less time with a camera in my hands and more time with a mechanical keyboard, as I’ve realised that if the photographer in me doesn’t rest for a while, then there won’t be any time for the writer to emerge.
Voluntary simplicity has been a part of my life for the last 8 years, as a way to focus on the things I value most, avoid wasting resources on things that don’t add value and as a sustainability practice.
